You’re supposed to run away from dragons. Not towards them.

Someone’s stirring up trouble in the Dragonroost, a reservation for wild dragons. It’s not a place the Magicianship can risk losing control of—especially if Shadow Knights are involved.

Fresh off her first dubious success, Ytheu Elmen joins the rest of the Magicianship on a quest to investigate the disturbances at the Dragonroost. But as the investigation unveils more trouble than they bargained for, Ytheu realizes that her magic, untamed and untested, is inadequate for the task at hand.

She needs an edge—something to help her strengthen her magic quickly enough to keep up with the Shadow Knight threat. If she doesn’t find one soon, the Mainland itself will come to a smoldering end, ablaze with dragon fire.
